It is a joyous day for Joanna fans, our favourite holiday! Here are some tips to enjoy your day to the fullest:

- frown at a monkey (or flick it off)
- fill your pockets with candy
- give yourself or someone you love a stuffed bear
- look at the stars with your father or sibling
- eat a lot (why, you ask? don’t ask)
- make a little white dove with love
- go visit a near-by river

Speaking of new music, we couldn’t, in good conscience, post about one up-and-coming artist without posting about two others dear to the fandom’s heart.
littlerunawaybunny (aka Alex) is the sweetest Joanna Newsom fan on this website. No, really! She never fails to say something nice to someone when they are down. Niceness aside, she is incredibly talented at guitar and the harp. This past summer, she released an incredibly lovely EP, Open Eyes and Night Skies. Give her a listen by clicking here! (believe it or not, she is only 17! scrape-your-knee was barely putting sentences together at that age, much less making an EP!)
its-like-a-catalyst (aka Rosa) is another incredibly talented person whose dedication to music and lyrics makes most of us bow our heads in total shame. If there is some new fact about a Joanna Newsom or Sufjan Stevens lyric, it is probably directly from Rosa.
